My wife is Japanese and I am French so our standards are high. The food was truly outstanding with a clear win for the octopus that was the freshest we ever had. But the scallops and tuna were very tasty as well. And the desserts were excellent too. Instead of committing to a bottle we tried different white wines by the glass and transformed our dinner into a mini wine tasting with food and we made some interesting discoveries. This was one of best dinner we had for a while and at half the cost of what we would have paid for for a meal of equivalent caliber in San Francisco. Ottimo!

Charming, cozy, traditional restaurant. Super helpful staff. Large healthy salads and really great grilled meats. Fado singers included! Would definitely eat there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at No Tacho.  The personnel were very friendly, attentive and best of all informative.  They not only wanted you to enjoy your meal they also explained the ingredients and derivation of each dish.  The first two courses were delicious , the wine was an ideal pairing and dessert, a great way to finish the meal.  And not to forget the after dinner liqueur which was No Tacho&rsquo;s way of saying thank you for dining with us.  A wonderful evening and one you should not miss!

This place was an absolute gem. Quietly tucked away off the main street. The best meal of our trip. This is a gastronomical experience. It is underrated and deserves so much more praise. Staff and food absolutely flawless. We will be back.

In the upper side of the city, the locations was beautiful! We had a buffet lunch that was very delicious, with a good choice of plates. The view over the city was incredible! Very nice place!!
